Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • small onion, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • jalapeno peppers
  • 2 c. meal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. bell pepper
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. cheese
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • Mexicorn
  • hot peppers

Method

  • Saute meat, onion, pimento and bell pepper.
  • Add soup, chili powder and peppers.
  • Mix all cornbread ingredients together. Grease a 9 x 12-inch pan.
  • Pour 1/2 of cornbread mixture, hamburger meat, and rest of cornbread mixture.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
