Ingredients

  • 2 c. rice, cooked
  • 1 lb. round steak, trimmed
  • 2 pkg. brown gravy mix (1 c. size)
  • 2 medium bell peppers, cut in strips
  • 1 large onion, cut in strips
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Method

  • Cut steak in strips.
  • Brown quickly in oil.
  • Drain on paper towel.
  • In skillet, place gravy mix, adding extra cup of water. Place steak, peppers and onion in gravy mix; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
  • Simmer 30 minutes.
  • Prepare rice as directed on package.
  • Pour gravy and steak mix over rice.
