Ingredients
- 5 lb. boiling or all-purpose potatoes, boiled
- 1/4 lb. bacon, diced
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 or 2 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Cut up bacon; fry with onion until bacon is crisp and onion is transparent.
- Add vinegar and water to pan; when heated, add sugar to taste (sweet and sour).
- Slice boiled potatoes into large ovenproof dish.
- Pour hot dressing over potatoes; toss and place in warm oven until served.
- Cover to avoid dryness.
