Ingredients

  • 2 whole Large Eggs
  • 2 cups Fresh Mushrooms, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 cups Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cups Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Dried Thyme
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 Hamburger Buns

Method

  • In a large bowl, slightly beat eggs.
  • Add next 10 ingredients (everything else except the olive oil and the buns) and mix until well combined.
  • Shape into 4 patties.
  • In a large skillet, cook patties in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until patties are crisp and lightly browned on both sides.
  • Cut hamburger buns in half and place mushroom patty on bun.
  • Top with your favorite burger toppings such as mustard, ketchup or relish.
