Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- In a mixing bowl, mix flour and sugar; set aside.
- Combine water, oil, margarine and cocoa in a saucepan; bring to a rapid boil.
- Remove from heat; stir well.
- Pour into flour and sugar mixture.
- Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Bake at 300° for 40 minutes in a well-greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
