Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 med. onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Orange slices
  • 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken pcs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1 tbsp. cool water

Method

  • Heat oil in skillet.
  • Cook chicken till brown.
  • Place in ungreased dish.
  • Top with onions, sprinkle with salt, paprika and pepper.
  • Mix orange juice, honey, lemon juice, ginger and nutmeg.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Cover, cook at 350 degrees 45 to 60 min.
  • Put chicken and onions on platter.
  • Pour pan juices into saucepan.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Mix water and cornstarch.
  • Stir into juices.
  • Thicken.
  • Serve with chicken.
  • 6 to 8 servings.
