Ingredients
- FOR THE HONEY SAGE SYRUP:
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cups Clover Or Orange Blossom Honey
- 10 leaves Sage, For Syrup
- FOR THE COCKTAIL:
- 1 cup Gin
- 1 cup Honey Sage Syrup
- 2 cups Orange Juice
- 4 leaves Sage, For Garnish
Method
- For the syrup:
- Combine water, honey, and sage leaves in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir, smashing the sage, until the honey is dissolved. Cool completely.
- For the cocktail:
- Combine gin, syrup, and orange juice, and divide among ice-filled glasses. Garnish each cocktail with a sage leaf.
- Note that I use a clover honey that is light in flavor. If you're using a very sweet variety like wildflower honey, you may need to use less for the syrup.
