Ingredients

  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 12 cup water
  • 14 ounces chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 large sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 12 cups instant rice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 12 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 cup soy sauce, on the side

Method

  • In a large skillet with lid, heat olive oil and brown chicken.
  • Remove the thighs after they are browned and add onion, saute until softened.
  • Add parsley, pepper, broth, water, rice and honey, stir.
  • Add chicken on top, cover.
  • Simmer on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes or until chicken is done and sauce is absorbed.
  • serve.
  • add desired soy sauce to top as desired.
