Ingredients
- 3 or 4 lb. pork
- 1 lb. sauerkraut
- 1/2 lb. whole cranberries
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1 tsp. pepper
Method
- Put in Dutch oven pot 3 or 4 cups of cold water and rinsed sauerkraut.
- Add whole cranberries and mushrooms.
- Cover with more cold water to 1 inch of cooking pot.
- Add pepper.
- Cover until boils, then simmer for 3 hours, or until when,
- using fork to pierce meat, it falls apart.
- Serves 6.
