Ingredients
- 4 -5 sprigs fresh rosemary, of medium length,chopped into 1/2 inch strips
- 3/4 cup ninety-proof vodka (or any clear low-odor ninety-proof drinking alcohol, available from any liquor store)
Method
- Gently"bruise" the rosemary strips by"hammering" very gently on the same.
- Use your fist to do this on a wood cutting board.
- Take an amber or dark glass bottle and pour the alcohol in it.
- Add the cut and bruised rosemary strips to it.
- Cover the bottle with its cap.
- Shake vigorously for a minute.
- Place in a cool and dark place for 6-8 weeks{shake for a minute every week}.
- Strain the"tincture" from the remaining plant pieces.
- Store in a cool and dark place.
