Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg
- 6 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. salt
Method
- To cream mixture, add boiling water to sugar and Crisco.
- Stir until dissolved to a liquid.
- Dissolve yeast in 1 cup of cold water.
- Add beaten egg and salt to creamed mixture.
- Add yeast. Beat in sifted flour until you have a fairly soft dough.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Form rolls and let rise 2 hours.
- Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
