Ingredients
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 tsp. peppermint or butter flavoring
- food color (optional; any color)
- 1 (1 lb.) box plus 1 c. powdered sugar
Method
- Mix the cream cheese and flavoring together.
- Mix in sugar (use fork at first, then hands).
- Knead, adding more sugar if it is too sticky.
- Roll into balls about the size of a marble.
- Place on wax paper.
- Flatten with back of fork.
- Allow to harden before serving.
- Makes 80 mints.
