Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cups Cocoa Powder (good Quality Makes The Difference Here)
- 1/4 cups Cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 4 cups Milk Or Light Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Method
- Combine sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. As it starts to heat, gradually add milk, stirring as you go. Bring to a boil then boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into individual-size plastic containers for lunches. Refrigerate until serving.
- Optional: Sprinkle M&M's or chopped Reese's peanut butter cups on top when serving.
