Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 6 potatoes, peeled
- 4 carrots, peeled
- 1 onion
- mushrooms
- green pepper
- salt
- pepper
Method
- In center of large square of heavy-duty aluminum foil, place 1/2 pound patty of ground chuck, shaped into a patty.
- Place thick slice of onion on meat.
- Place large chunks of potato and carrots on top, then mushrooms, green pepper or other choice of fresh vegetables.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Wrap in foil and cook over hot coals 1 hour, flipping occasionally, until done. Makes 4 large portions.
