Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/3 c. finely chopped onions
  • 1 thick slice of white bread
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 tsp. ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed dry marjoram
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Melt oleo and saute onions.
  • Soak bread in milk (after breaking bread).
  • Combine onions, bread and remaining ingredients. Mix well with hands and shape into loaf.
  • Bake in a lightly greased pie plate or shallow baking dish.
  • Bake 1 hour at 350°. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
