Ingredients

  • 1 14 cups oatmeal, processed in blender for 1 minute
  • 1 teaspoon basil, dried
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 12 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 12 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 14 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless, cut into 1-inch strips (or 12 tenderloin strips)
  • 14 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 14 cup margarine, melted

Method

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Combine first 6 ingredients and place in a shallow dish.
  • Put milk in a shallow dish.
  • Dip chicken into dry mixture.
  • Then dip into milk.
  • Then dip into dry mixture again.
  • Place chicken pieces on a 10" x 15" baking pan.
  • Drizzle chicken with melted margarine.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
