Ingredients
- 2 large bananas of 3 small (nice & ripe)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 - 18 1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix (use high altitude directions)
- 1- (3 3/4 oz). pkg. banana cream instant pudding and pie filling
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups water (you will use 1 1/2 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Method
- Mash bananas, sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir pie filling into cake mix, add eggs and water. Blend to moisten. Stir in bananas, oil, nuts. Mix 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Pour into greased
- and floured 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until done. Cool - Frost with 9 oz. carton Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut.
