Ingredients

  • 1 lb. stew size beef pieces
  • 1/2 lb. Italian hot sausage
  • 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage
  • 1 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 c. diced carrots
  • 1/2 c. peas
  • 1 c. cabbage
  • 1/2 c. corn
  • 1/2 c. green beans
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 2 or 3 tomatoes or 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Italian seasoning

Method

  • Brown beef with salt and onion.
  • Brown and drain sausage.
  • Add 2 cups water to the meat and cook vegetables in same pan.
  • Add seasoning as desired.
  • Add tomatoes and more water as needed. Substitute macaroni for potatoes, if desired.
