Ingredients

  • 200 grams Cabbage
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 6 Wiener sausages
  • 700 ml Water
  • 2 Consomme soup stock cubes
  • 1 dash Salt and pepper

Method

  • Cut the potatoes, carrot, and wiener sausages into bite-sized pieces.
  • Roughly chop the cabbage.
  • (I shredded it so that it's easy to eat for my kids this time.)
  • Stir-fry the wiener sausages in a pot.
  • When the oil renders from the sausages, add carrot and continue stir-frying.
  • Pour in water.
  • When it starts to boil, skim off the scum, and add the cabbage and consomme.
  • Add potatoes, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cover with a lid, and simmer until the potatoes become soft.
  • Finally, taste the soup.
  • If it's too thin, add a little bit of salt and pepper, and it's done.
