Ingredients

  • 4 c. (15 oz.) frozen potato rounds
  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 (10 oz.) frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed
  • 2 cans French fried onions
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper

Method

  • Place potatoes on bottom and sides of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
  • Mix together beef, broccoli and 1 can onions.
  • Spread over potato shell.
  • Combine soup, milk, 1/2 cheese and seasonings in small saucepan; heat.
  • Pour over beef mixture.
  • Bake, covered, for 20 minutes at 400°.
  • Top with 1 can onions and remaining cheese.
  • Bake until cheese is melted and onions are brown, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Makes 6 servings.
