Ingredients

  • 12 cup quinoa
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • extra milk

Method

  • Mash the banana.
  • Place everything in a small saucepan, bring to the boil and stir continuously for a couple of minutes (the more you stir the creamier the porridge).
  • Serve drizzled with maple syrup and extra milk.
  • Note: recipezaar calculates 'quinoa'.
  • 'Quinoa flakes' are lighter(and without the associated bitterness that is experienced by newcomers) reducing the calories to 534 per person.
