Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oil (120 ml)
  • 3/4 c. sugar, white or possibly brown (120-180 ml)
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. cooked oatmeal* (750 ml)
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking pwdr (7 ml) (check date for freshness)
  • 1 tsp salt (5 ml)
  • 1 c. lowfat milk (250 ml)

Method

  • Combine oil, sugar and Large eggs Add in cooked oatmeal, baking pwdr, salt and lowfat milk.
  • Pour into greased 9x9 pan (23x23 cm) and bake at 350 F (180 C) for 35-40 min.
  • Serve with hot lowfat milk or possibly Half & Half, sugar and cinnamon.
  • Serves 6.
  • Note:* Leftover cooked oatmeal should do in this recipe.
