Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. Macadamia nuts, chopped
- 1/4 c. real butter
Method
- Mix baking soda, vanilla and 1 teaspoon water.
- Set aside. Combine water, sugar and corn syrup; heat to 275°.
- Add nuts and cook until 302° using candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat, add butter and baking soda mixture and stir.
- Pour onto greased cookie sheet to cool.
- When cool, break into pieces.
