- 2 lb. frozen hash browns, partially thawed
- 1 c. diced fresh onions
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 lb. carton sour cream
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar
- pepper to taste
Method
- Combine all ingredients.
- Pour into well-greased shallow baking dish, 12 1/4 x 10 1/2-inches.
- Cover with crushed Wheaties and dot with dabs of margarine.
- Bake at 375° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until crusty and bubbly.
