- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
- 1/2 stick margarine
Method
- Melt margarine and saute onion.
- Add potatoes, soup, cheese, sour cream and seasonings.
- Pour into buttered casserole dish. Mix melted margarine and corn flakes.
- Pat into a crust, covering potatoes during last 10 minutes of baking.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
