Ingredients
- 3 c. diced beets (canned or fresh)
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
- Combine sugar, cornstarch, butter and water.
- Cook over hot water until smooth and thick.
- Season to taste.
- Add beets.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Serve at once.
- Makes 6 servings.
