Ingredients
- 2 cans beets, diced or quartered
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. vinegar (cider vinegar)
Method
- Boil sugar, vinegar and cornstarch together for 5 minutes. Add beets and let stand 1/2 hour or more.
- Before serving, heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
