Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. crushed bay leaves
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 4 lb. brisket
Method
- Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
- Rub liquid smoke completely into meat.
- Place meat (fat side up) into roasting pan.
- Sprinkle dry ingredients on top of beef.
- Cover tightly.
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Bake at 325° for 4 hours.
- Scrape off seasoning; slice thin and serve.
