Ingredients

  • 16 medium size, fresh mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. soft butter
  • 1 small garlic clove, mashed
  • 5 Tbsp. shredded Jack cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. dry red wine
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

Method

  • Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems finely.
  • Brush caps with melted butter.
  • Blend soft butter with garlic; add cheese and mix well.
  • Stir in wine, soy sauce and the finely chopped stems to make a paste.
  • Fill caps.
  • Place on foil-lined cookie sheet. Broil 5 inches from heat for approximately 3 minutes.
