Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 1/2 lb. ground sausage
- 1 lb. Velveeta block cheese
- 1 dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 dash of salt and pepper
Method
- Brown hamburger meat and ground sausage and then drain the grease off.
- In a large pot, combine the hamburger and sausage with Velveeta cheese.
- Add the cayenne pepper and seasonings. Preheat oven to 350°.
- Take the loaf of pumpernickel bread and cut each slice in half.
- Take a spoonful of the mixture and put onto each half of the bread.
- Spray a cookie sheet with Pam and just slightly toast the bread with mix.
- This usually takes about 15 minutes.
