Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 lb. Velveeta block cheese
  • 1 dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1 dash of salt and pepper

Method

  • Brown hamburger meat and ground sausage and then drain the grease off.
  • In a large pot, combine the hamburger and sausage with Velveeta cheese.
  • Add the cayenne pepper and seasonings. Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Take the loaf of pumpernickel bread and cut each slice in half.
  • Take a spoonful of the mixture and put onto each half of the bread.
  • Spray a cookie sheet with Pam and just slightly toast the bread with mix.
  • This usually takes about 15 minutes.
