- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 to 3 c. cooked rice or noodles
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 clove garlic, chopped or 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
Method
- Cook and stir hamburger and onion in butter in 10-inch skillet. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
- Stir in soup.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat.
- Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through.
- Serve over hot noodles or rice.
