Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 3 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed or macaroni
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 3 to 4 c. water
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 pkg. frozen green beans
Method
- Brown beef; drain off fat.
- Add remaining ingredients except beans.
- Bring to boil and reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add green beans and continue to simmer 30 minutes more. Makes 6 servings.
- I also add corn.
