Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground round beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) bag frozen carrots
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • flour, salt and pepper
  • noodles, cooked

Method

  • Brown ground beef.
  • Add onion; drain grease.
  • Add water (about 6 cups) and bouillon; boil.
  • Add vegetables, tomatoes and anything else you would like.
  • Bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
  • Simmer for 1/2 hour.
  • During this time, mix 3 tablespoons flour with 1/2 cup water; pour slowly into soup to thicken.
  • Add noodles.
  • Makes 7 servings.
