Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs 80/20 Hamburger
  • 1 white onion- diced
  • 2 cups diced potato
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsb kosher salt
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup water (if the hash dries out)

Method

  • Bring water to a boil, salt. Add potatos to boil.
  • Brown hamburger, add salt, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cube, garlic. When meat is brown, stir in onion and let cook for 10 minutes. If the hash dries out at this point, add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan.
  • Add flour, stir in. Drain potatoes when soft but still solid. Stir into hash and serve.
