- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 (12 oz.) can corn
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with tomato bits
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Method
- Combine meat, onion, catsup, salt, chili powder and oregano in 10-inch skillet.
- Brown and drain.
- Grease 10-inch pie plate; line with meat.
- Pour corn into center of meat shell.
- Prepare muffin mix as directed, adding butter.
- Spread evenly over meat and corn.
- Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Invert on serving plate.
- Combine remaining sauce ingredients; heat and serve with meat.
