Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked rice (not instant)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
- 1 tsp. onion flakes
- 1/2 tsp. basil flakes
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 2 to 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 large can chopped tomatoes
- 1 lb. hamburger
- grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Add garlic, onion flakes, basil flakes and mushrooms to olive oil; mix well.
- Add tomatoes and cook for 1/2 hour.
- Brown crumbled hamburger.
- Add eggs to cool rice.
- Add hamburger and rice mixture to the tomato mixture.
- Put in 2 or 3-quart casserole.
- Add salt
- to taste (optional).
- Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
- Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese before serving.
