- 2 c. beef broth (3 beef cubes and 3 c. water)
- 2 c. chicken broth (3 chicken cubes and 3 c. water)
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 lb. browned ground beef
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 potatoes, chopped
- 1/4 c. barley
Method
- Simmer together until tender.
- This freezes well.
