Ingredients

  • 12 c. chopped ham
  • 1 c. relish
  • 3 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 4 king-sized loaves day old sandwich bread (2 whole wheat and 2 white)
  • 1 lb. oleo for sealing bread

Method

  • Chop ham and celery in food processor.
  • Put all ingredients in large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Spread each slice of bread with soft oleo to seal out moisture.
  • If sandwiches cannot be made on day needed, make sandwiches and put back in bread wrappers day before.
  • Just before serving, trim off crusts with electric knife and cut into finger sandwiches.
