Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked ham, cubed
  • 1/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. thyme leaves, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 c. cooked noodles (5 oz.)
  • 1 c. canned cut green beans, drained
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • In saucepan, brown ham.
  • Cook onion with thyme in margarine until done or tender.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese.
  • Pour into 2-quart casserole.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Bake until cheese melts, 8 minutes longer.
  • If refrigerated before cooking, bake 45 minutes longer.
