Ingredients
- 1 pastry shell
- 1 c. diced cooked ham
- 2 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 oz. grated Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Spread diced ham over bottom of pastry shell.
- Sprinkle with cheeses, reserving 3 to 4 tablespoons for top of quiche.
- Lightly beat eggs with a wire whisk.
- Add half and half and seasonings; blend until smooth.
- Set the pastry shell on a cookie sheet and carefully add custard mixture.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
