Ingredients

  • 4 9/16 cups carrot fresh
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cardamon powder, ilaichi
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 6 1/3 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons ghee
  • almond
  • raisins

Method

  • In a pan melt the ghee and add the cardamon,cinnamon,almond and raisin to fry just as to let out the flavours.
  • Grate the carrots and add to the melted ghee and cook for around 3 minutes.
  • Add the sugar afterwards and the first 1/2 liter of milk and leave to evaporate on low heat, as it started to dry add the second 1/2 l of milk.
  • The same wait for it to dry just one quarter of the pan before add the rest of the milk until it cooks.
  • Time that it takes for cook it one whole hour
