Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine shortening, sugar and eggs.
- Mix well until a smooth consistency results.
- Then add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, milk and vanilla.
- Drop tablespoons of batter on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. When cool, spread half the cookie with butter frosting (white) and the other half with chocolate frosting.
