Ingredients
- 4 lb. green tomatoes
- 5 lb. apples
- 2 lb. raisins
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. cloves
- 5 lb. sugar
Method
- Chop tomatoes fine.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon salt over them and let stand 1/2 hour.
- Drain.
- Add chopped apples and raisins.
- Cook until done.
- (Tomatoes, apples and raisins may be ground in a meat grinder or chopped in a blender.) Add vinegar, cinnamon, cloves and sugar before cooking.
