Ingredients

  • 2 cups cut fresh green beans (1-inch pieces)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
  • 1-1/2 cups frozen corn, thawed
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Method

  • Place beans in a large saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, for 5-7 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onions in butter until tender. Stir in the corn, salt, sugar, celery salt and paprika. Drain beans; add to corn mixture. Cook and stir for 4 minutes or until heated through.
