Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground meat
  • 1 1/2 lb. Colby or Cheddar cheese
  • 2 small cans green chiles
  • 3 tsp. cumin
  • 3 tsp. oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 6 corn tortillas

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Brown meat, adding spices.
  • In large casserole dish, lightly smear bottom with a couple spoons of soup. Layer ingredients in following order:
  • 1 corn tortilla, soup, meat, onion, cheese and green chiles.
  • Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with large layer of cheese.
