- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground meat
- 1 1/2 lb. Colby or Cheddar cheese
- 2 small cans green chiles
- 3 tsp. cumin
- 3 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 6 corn tortillas
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Brown meat, adding spices.
- In large casserole dish, lightly smear bottom with a couple spoons of soup. Layer ingredients in following order:
- 1 corn tortilla, soup, meat, onion, cheese and green chiles.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with large layer of cheese.
