Ingredients
- 1 lb. French green beans (haricot verts), trimmed
- 4 slices (1/4 lb.) applewood smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add beans; cook 2 to 3 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain in colander; rinse under cold water. Drain (can be done day ahead and refrigerated).
