Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion
  • thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 qt. green beans, undrained
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • brown sugar to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • onion salt to taste
  • garlic salt to taste

Method

  • Brown hamburger and put in bottom of pan.
  • Thinly slice onion on top of hamburger.
  • Thinly slice potatoes; add green beans, stewed tomatoes and tomato juice.
  • Stir together; sprinkle with a little brown sugar, salt, pepper, onion salt and garlic salt. Simmer for two hours over low heat until potatoes are done.
