Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 head cauliflower, sliced
  • 1/2 medium size sweet onion, sliced very thin
  • 1 lb. bacon, diced and fried crisp
  • 1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Method

  • Place lettuce, cauliflower, onion and bacon in order in serving bowl.
  • Mix mayonnaise, cheese and sugar until well blended and spread ingredients in bowl; seal completely to the edge.
  • Let stand several hours in refrigerator before mixing and serving (can be made the day before).
  • Also, the remaining salad will stay crisp for several days if kept in a tight container.
