Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 c. water
- 1 can Milnot or milk
- 2 to 3 large strips bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1/2 c. chopped ham
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Cube potatoes.
- Chop onion.
- Crumble fried bacon.
- Chop ham. Place in pot.
- Add water to cover potatoes.
- Cook until potatoes are starting to get soft.
- Add salt, pepper, mushroom soup and milk.
- Add remainder of water.
- Simmer until done.
- More water can be added for personal preference of consistency.
- Thicken with 1 tablespoon cornstarch in 1/2 cup water.
- Makes approximately 6 servings.
