Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Maple Syrup (Grade A And B Work Well)
  • 1/2 cups Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3 cups Rolled Oats (Old Fashion)
  • 1 cup Roasted Almonds, Roughly Chopped
  • 1 cup Pepitas (pumpkin Seeds)
  • 1 cup Sunflower Kernels (no Shell), Unsalted
  • 1/2 cups Flax Seed
  • 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 300 F. Heat the maple syrup, honey and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until well-combined. Then remove from heat.
  • In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour the maple syrup mixture over the oat mixture and stir well.
  • Spread out the granola on a baking sheet that you've lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-45 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes. Bake until the granola has dried out but is still slightly moist. Let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
